19 Months Old

Kami continues to add words to her vocabulary, although, she doesn't like to use them when mom is around. She'll talk for dad and grandma and grandpa, but mom gets the shaft. She can say family names (mom, dad, grandma, grandpa), some foods (more, cheese, cracker, carrot, broccoli, cookie, cocoa-as in puffs), and miscellaneous words (no no, I do, go, move). Like I said, she rarely uses them and gets by with grunts and points. Someday, she'll start quoting Shakespeare and I'll want her to shut up...

Here's how Kami eats a sandwich:

Step 1: Measure up your prey.

Step 2: Attack prey with full force.

Step 3: Finish off prey.

Step 4: Satisfaction.

Where are all the crackers?

This is Kami's "sign language" for "More, please!"

Every time we go into the church nursery, Kami just has to sit in a swing that obviously too small for her.

Ziploc baggies are okay for her to play with, right? She looks like she's having fun...
