43 Weeks Old

Happy Trunk-or-Treat! We just had our annual trunk-or-treat at church tonight and as promised, Kami showed up as a panda! It took me forever to make her costume and I even had to borrow Tara's sewing machine, but even being up until 3:30 Sunday morning, it was totally worth it! She was adorable and even won cutest costume in the 0-3 year old group, and there were some tough competitors, like Snow White, a ladybug, and even a cowboy. I could tell that Kami was really proud of herself! I'm sure her grandparents (both sets) will be so excited to see her for her first Halloween when they get back into town.

This past week, Kami got to hang out with the Weares and Tara and next week, she'll get to have some quality time with her dad and Aunt Patso and I'm sure that she's looking forward to seeing her grandparents get back from Mexico (and mom's excited to have her baby-sitters back). Fall is definitely here, but this weekend was nice and clear so the Price family took a walk and visited a house that Garrett's brother is trying to sell. Kami got to show off her stair-climbing skills, which she was very proud of.

Do you see the resemblance?

It's Grandpa Dokken's birthday today, so we thought we'd send him a Happy Birthday greeting to Mexico!

Man, she's cute!

I guess pandas like apples.

I think they really like apples!

Check out my mad stair-climbing skills that Grandpa Dokken taught me.

Kami tried out the fake fruit in the house for sale. I'm not sure it tasted very good though.

Kami and dad sliding down the slide in our subdivision's playground.

Who's under that blanket?

It's Kami and her dad! Peek-a-boo!

Mmm...dinner was so good I had to lick the jar!

It's getting chilly outside, so we needed to break her winter hat out.

Here's a picture of our house-I realized I hadn't put one on the blog yet, so here you go. I'll get more inside pictures on later (when it's clean and decorated, so it might be a while).

42 Weeks Old

Who knew this girl would be so much fun to have around? I can't believe it's so close to her being one year old! She's just the sweetest little thing ever and quite a goofball like her dad. Halloween is approaching soon and I've started (sort of) on her costume, so stay tuned for pictures of our cute little Kami-Bear! Her standing-alone skills are getting stronger-my mom's afraid she's going to start walking while they're gone to Mexico on a cruise. I doubt that's going to happen, but she might be able to stand on her own by the time they get back (hopefully with some vanilla!). I'm sure Kami's going to miss her grandparents this next week, but she'll get to spend lots of time with her dad and her friends, the Weares! I'm still expecting a fifth tooth to show sometime-I'll keep you posted!

Isn't she adorable? I can't seem to get over it.

This was an accidental picture, but a great accident.

She can fly, she can fly!

Just the two of us.

We took some family photos at the Weare's house this weekend but I don't know which one I like the best-will you help?

I know it's kind of bright, but at least we're all looking at the camera.

Kami's really not flipping you off-I promise.

So, this one looks like the other one, but it's slightly different-which do you like better?

I'm leaning towards this one...

Ooohhh...what are these?

I don't care what they are, they're going in my mouth!

What a little pot-bellied pig we've got!

Kami got a hold of some pudding and a straw at Grandpa's and Aunt Patso's birthday dinner.

She loves little chocolate donuts-they are so delicious!

Chocolate donuts make a girl sleepy.

Being cute is tough on a baby.

Crocheted magnets are tasty.

Dad and Kami eating dinner together.

See-she really can stand on her own!

Crawling in this outfit was a little tough on the hardwood floors.

Kami and Grandma Fuzzle just clowning around.

41 Weeks Old

Kami just gets cuter and cuter every day and she's growing up right before everyone's eyes! She's still working on some teeth (she's constantly drooling and chomping on her fingers) and standing alone is getting a little bit easier for her.

Work is still going well for me and my parents are having a lot of fun hanging out with their favorite granddaughter! We also have people come over every Wednesday night, so they all get to ooohhh and aaawww over Kami and she gets to show off to people. What a little goof we've got on our hands!

This is her new face she makes when she says, "Ooohhhh," and showing off her clapping skills.

How do I get this camera case to work?

Mmm...Kami loves q-tips.

See-she really does have top teeth! She also loves to play with her dad!

Awww...

My little vacuum cleaner-what a helper!

She looks like such a little girl instead of my baby! Noooooo!!!

Such a sleepy sweetheart.

Kami's so advanced she already knows how to drive! Who knew?

I think she likes carrots...

I know she likes french bread!

Wait a minute, where are my hands?

Hanging out in the pantry with mom.

Where should these potatoes go?

Oh-in my mouth!

40 Weeks Old

Kami had her nine-month doctor visit this week. We were one week off, but who's counting? She was officially 29 1/4" long and weighed 18 lbs. 10 oz. That put her in the ninety-second percentile for length and fiftieth percentile for weight. Her doctor is convinced that we're going to have a blue-eyed model on our hands! I'm okay with that if she's going to be making good money and paying my way later on in life! He was quite impressed with her mobility skills and all of her babbling! We are too.

Kami seems to be getting used to her new house with just mom and dad in it. It's a bit quieter than what we're all used to, but it's home. Her first night, she woke up crying. I think she might have been confused about where she was. Ever since then, she's been Kami the Explorer all over the house and a very happy girl!

This week we got to tailgate with my parents and some other family and friends. Kami had to get into the Boise State spirit, so we got her a BSU onesie. She was the cutest girl at the party! Also, her fourth tooth is all the way through-no wonder she's been a grump lately.

Kami's already a football fan. I wonder if her favorite channel will be ESPN?

Yep, we see you! We like the stats too!

Go orange, go big blue, fight, fight, BSU!

Kami loves Mr. Peep!

There must be a good op-ed piece in the paper today.

A bunch of Broncos fans!

Kami's still not too sure what to think of Silva. I think she likes her better behind the doggy cage.

Kami seems to be very interested in Kody's dog tag.

I'm sure that washcloths taste delicious. I'll just take Kami's word for it.

She's the new Tinky Winky Telletubby.

She likes to sing in the bathtub like dad.

Kami's trying to help mom by cleaning the floors with the towel.

She looks like such a big girl! Time's moving too fast!
