23.5 Months Old

I know, I know...I am SO late on this post. Like many, our December has been busy, so the blog got pushed to the very back burners that aren't ever used and have a stain from who-knows-what. Anyways, Kami has a little bit more interest in "kissmas" and "clause" and likes to take down ornaments from our Christmas tree. She also seems really fascinated with the big rolls of paper and pretty bows and loves to "help" mama wrap dada's presents.

Her daycare seems to be going well for all involved and Kami now waves bye-bye to us when we drop her off instead of clinging to our leg and crying. She makes lots of cute crafts and has been doing some preschool stuff with the older kids. Her best friend there is Dylan, a little boy who is close to Kami's age. They love playing together.

She's talking so much more now and has a little more interest in the toilet (she really likes sitting for 2 seconds, throwing toilet paper in the toilet, and flushing), and definitely has a mind of her own. I can't believe she'll be two at the end of this month! My how time flies when you're having fun!

Little Mischievous getting into the box of ornaments.

I gave Kami a scrap piece of paper, some bows, and a few pieces of tape and she went to town.

Kami got to choose her own ornament this year and between Mickey Mouse and Little Einsteins, Rocket won out. She's already broken the antenna off the top.

She loves playing with mama's music boxes (I used to get one every even-numbered year and Nick, my brother, got odd-numbered years), especially the advent Christmas Tree one.

Kami has really latched on to Shep, finally, and can even say his name and mimics us when we tell Shep commands, like "blanket," "sit," and "go outside."

This girl LOVES Cheetos!

Kami had some really important business to take care of after her bath.

Sleepy Kami and Crazy-Eyed dada. Classy.

She found some old bottles and this is what she did. What a dork.

Kami loves when her dada "beeps" her nose. Hilarious!

How could you tell this face no? It's not easy people!

Kami found a compact mirror in the church's nursery and thought they were bug eyes.

Hope the birthday was fantastic!

How about meeting in SLC in late June?

Love you guys!
