You can't tell by the pictures, but our house has been full of sickies the past few weeks. Garrett went out of town for a wedding early this month and brought home a bug. Kami had been sick already, so it might be here fault, but nonetheless, we've had sniffles and sneezes. Garrett stayed home a few days with the girls, Kami had a snotty nose and a cough (along with being pretty whiny), but Brooklyn ended up with a sinus infection and bronchitis. We started her on antibiotics today, but she was pretty miserable this past weekend.
Other than being sick, the girls and I got to hang out together while dad was out playing. I enjoyed our girl time with sleepovers (Kami sleeping in my room), building things out of cardboard boxes, and just hanging out around the house. The next week, the weather got warmer and we got to enjoy a few bike rides and Kami FINALLY got to go to the park (she would spot every park while we were driving anywhere and say "I wanna go to the park!").
Kami is turning into quite the chef and wants to help any time I'm in the kitchen. She breaks out her apron from Grandma and helps me whip up a few dishes. Her favorite? Cupcakes with sprinkles of course! Brooklyn is rolling over like a champ and showing us how stubborn she is. We've had to use the dreaded nose sucker quite a few times on her and she will beat you before she lets you close to her nose. Stubborn turd...

Kami "fapping" her wings like a birdy. Isn't it interesting how normal words start to end with "y"s when you have kids?
Kami watching over her baby sister. Brooklyn likes to roll around in her crib and this is how we found her one night. She usually fusses until we move her back to her spot, but she must have been too tired to do that this night. Notice Kami's shoulder blade? I promise we try to force feed her!
Kami and mama made a choo-choo train while dada was out of town. She was pretty bummed that the steering wheel didn't really move...

Ah, yes, the dreaded nose sucker! It amazes me how a teensy thing can fight so hard against that thing!
