Again, sorry for the late post. Life has been a bit hectic with Garrett's thirtieth birthday, a baby who's teething, and a three-year old who likes to throw temper tantrums.
Garrett celebrated his thirtieth birthday by going to the mountains with all of us along with our fabulous friends from Denver, Cody, Jeannie, and Judah Hufstedler. Kami and Judah had a blast together and were even calling each other "sister" before the weekend was over. Kami still asks where her sister is. When I tell her where Brooklyn is, she says, "No, my big sister!" We had tons of fun hanging out at the cabin, catching up, making three-year olds share, and going to some hot springs. We already miss them and are looking forward to see them again soon.
Brooklyn went to the doctor on Garrett's birthday for a delayed six-month visit. She would have gone last month, but she had a sinus infection and bronchitis, so I didn't think she needed that and shots. She ended up being 28" long (95th percentile) and a little over 17 lbs (85th percentile). She's a big girl like her big sister was. She's got three teeth (two on bottom and one on top), which means she's a little sensitive, and is also really working at crawling. She gets pretty frustrated that she can't move across the room. She's a professional roller and loves to roll over onto her stomach as soon as I get her dirty diaper off. Sneaky...
As far as Kami goes, she's a stinker. We have our good times where she is so fun, creative, and imaginative, and we have our bad times, where she won't walk on her own, throws tons of fits, and grunts when she doesn't want to do anything. We skipped the "terrible twos" and moved to the "terrible threes." We love her all the same, but the bad days leave me exhausted.
Now that you've made it through the novel (Garrett says I write too much), enjoy all the pics and leave lots of comments!

Lots of hand me downs from big sister (the car seat, bear outfit, and sunglasses), but she makes them look cute!

In the pool picture all I can think of is what was coming up shortly after. Or should I say coming out?
Chad's gross.
And I don't think you write too much! I like reading the info just as much as I like looking at the pics.
I agreed with Hayley. I like the novel!
How true--you can, indeed, tell they are sisters by the bunny ears!!
