May Showers

Okay, so I know I'm late, and to make it worse, I have no pictures of Kami from the last two weeks of May. I know we did stuff, but I forgot my camera. Part of the problem is that the weather has not been cooperating around here and instead of May flowers, we've had May showers. There's been so much rain, we haven't been able to play outside, go on bike rides, and even worse, go to the pool yet. It's been warming up and clearing up a bit around here lately, so hopefully there will be lots of outdoor activities had by all next month!

Brooklyn still has just the four teeth and is an official crawler. She's a fast kid and loves to follow you around (does it sound like I'm describing a dog?). She is starting to eat "table scraps" (maybe she is my pet) and will eat any baby food out there. She's still a champion sleeper and has acquired the nickname "baby sister" because of Kami.

Kami is having lots of fun going to Denice's house, Wendy's house, and Grandma and Papa's house during the days of the week. She loves to see aunt Patsy, uncle "Nicky," cousin "Zone-ah" and grandpa on Wednesday nights for dinner and is getting better at letter recognition. She's got the "K" and "B" down since I've got those letters on the fridge for our girls. She still takes hour-long baths and would stay up all night if we let her. She still loves being a big sister and loves helping out with baby sister.

As far as the adults of this family, we're staying busy. Garrett is starting his summer, and final, session of his master's program and after July, will be a master. He has mentioned taking on the name of "Master G," but I don't think that's going to fly around here. I'm still working hard and dreaming of someday winning the lottery. I'll keep you posted as to when and how much one of these days...

Sink bath!

Her hair curls at the ends in the back when it's all wet. Those are dada's genes.

Her cheeks are so large, their shadow covers her mouth.

Mmm...bottle brush...

She loves her baths, just like big sister!

Trying Cheerios for the first time. She was a big fan. I don't think I've found a food that Brooklyn hasn't liked, which is different from Kami.

She's an eater! I sometimes call her my "piggy wiggy."

And again with the eating.

Drunk Brooklyn. Take me drunk, I'm home!

Her hair flips out at the bottoms and goes a little crazy.

Your "pet" is very cute! I miss her. And you. All y'all, infact! Hopefully our "June showers" will soon peter out and you guys can have some fun in the sun.
