37 Weeks Old

This past week, Carol took Kami back to Boise with her on her flight on Tuesday, but before Carol left, we did fit a little bit of shopping in at an outlet mall in Broomfield, which is about thirty minutes north of Denver. After Garrett and I dropped Carol and Kami off at the airport, we finished packing all of our stuff and slept through four restful nights (but we did miss our girl). Garrett drove the U-Haul with his car on the back and I drove my car that was packed full along with the dog all Saturday. The trip was quite uneventful and LONG! The only "exciting" thing to happen was me blowing out my front passenger-side tire right before the Kings Hill exit in Idaho (it's before the Mt. Home exits, so about 2 hours outside of Boise). That was fun, not! I thought that most people knew that if a car was pulled over and had its hazard lights on, the cars that were driving would move over to the farthest lane away, but apparently not. I was worried that my car would fall off the jack because of semi-trucks driving by us at 75 miles an hour. Luckily, that did not happen and we did end up back in Boise safely. After not seeing Kami for a few days, she seemed different, but after a few moments, we realized she was the same sweet girl! Although we will miss the Hufstedlers and the experience, it's nice to be back with family. I sometimes wonder if it was all a dream...

Looks like Kami enjoys cheese popcorn just like mom! She'll have to get her own bag though. Mom don't share!

Such a happy, little girl!

What is this thing?

She loves checking herself out in the mirror!

Yep, again with the mirrors...

Looks like Kami's an XS and dad's an XL. Garrett had to entertain himself while shopping with his mom and myself. Mission accomplished.

Mmm...pizza...just what a growing girl needs.

Kami loves remotes!

One last picture with two sweet girls. I'm sure there will be more in the future!

This is what I had to look at for about thirteen and a half hours. Awesome.

This is our house in Nampa. Kami was trying to help dad install a sink in the kitchen.

What a helpful girl!

Ahhhh...memories! We drove that drive from Mtn. Home to Boise many-a-time not too long ago! [sigh]

I'm glad everything went fairly well during the big move. I love the cute pictures!
