38 Weeks Old

This week was our first full week back in Idaho. We're staying at my parents' house until we can get our house fully operational, which means installing sinks, toilets, water heater, and a fridge. We should be done this week and be in our new house next week! Kami has been enjoying some more quality time with her grandparents and her grandparents are enjoying showing her off to people. Kami has been all over their house exploring and getting into everything! She is such a curious girl and has to put everything in her mouth. She also got to spend some time with her Uncle Nick and Aunt Patso and got to meet their new little puppy (pug) Silva. She's still not sure what to think of her. She's getting to be more and more mobile every day and loves to talk to herself and anyone else who will listen. Her second top tooth is still working its way out. It's close, but not quite a "real" tooth yet.

In other news, I started my new job at an Eagle Wells Fargo. It works out nice because it's about five minutes from my parents' house, so when we start living out in Nampa, I can drop Kami off at their house and then head to work. I'm in the process of getting my office organized and meeting new people. It's a little stressful, but it's a "good" stressful.

Kami looks pretty funny in Grandpa's hat!

This thing is huge!

This is an outfit that her dad picked out when she was a newborn that she can finally fit into! Isn't she cute?

Kami tried some banana this past week and seemed to like it! Then again, she's not a very picky eater, which has been really nice.

Kami got an early Halloween gift-a stuffed ghost from Target!

The ghost is almost as big as her! She thinks it's pretty funny!

She loves when her dad throws her ghost in her face!

She just loves her dad in general.

Claps for dad!

I tried to get all of her teeth in one shot, but I could only get her two little bottom Chiclets. What a ham!

Peek-a-boo! We see you!

She claps for french bread!

It is pretty exciting to get some french bread! She'll actually clap for just about anything. Anytime we say "yay!" she'll start clapping.

A pretty, thirsty girl!

Yummy high chair strap.

Hmmm...what do I think of this thing?

Yes, I think I like her...

She's pretty interesting...

I might get used to her...

No, no! Abort, abort! Remove the dog ASAP!

I miss her! Kami looks like she is enjoying her new digs with G-ma and G-pa. That dog is just wierd--cute wierd. When will we see you again? C-bear and I were talking tonight about how we wonder if Judah remembers Kami. We saw an Asian baby on a video and Judah said "wooh! wooh!". Baby talk for "Kami"?
