47 Weeks Old

Happy Thanksgiving to all! Turkey Day was held at our house and it went over without a hitch-the turkey came out very pretty and browned and all participants left happy and well-fed. My parents, brother and sister-in-law were there along with Garrett's parents and brother, and my second cousins and a few kids were there too. Later that night, my other second cousin and her hubby came as did Chad and Tara with her parents to play a few games. Thanksgiving isn't really Thanksgiving without Trivial Pursuit. Kami enjoyed getting some Thanksgiving dinner too-a few yams and green beans, some cranberry sauce and fruit salad, and of course, some pie. We also went shopping on "Black Friday" and found Kami some Christmas presents after she had turned around (we didn't want her to see her presents). All in all, Thanksgiving and some time off was fabulous-I wasn't really sure I wanted to go back to work this morning...

Mmm...dad's moccasins are tasty.

She's sort of getting the idea of walking, but I don't think she cares yet.

She's finally got another tooth coming in after all that finger-chewing.

Who could resist a face like that?

Kami likes to chew on anything that's close.

She'll usually give it back to you after she's done with it. What a nice girl.

Here's her Thanksgiving outfit and her panda that she absolutely loves. It's from the Denver Zoo-good memories.

Being tickled is so funny!

Look at the big girl wearing shoes.

Kami likes the rattle we got her on Black Friday.

When she's not chewing on it, she does shake it. Shake it like a Polaroid picture!

Dad likes to have fun with her hair in the bath.

Playing peek-a-boo has become Kami's favorite game. She likes to play in front of the couch.

Listening to a few tunes.

Picking out what to listen to next.

Kami still has to wear her bib everywhere since she's still a drool machine.

Trying to shove her foot and a q-tip in her mouth at the same time. What a multi-tasker.

Tessa! Thanks for all of these great pics and updates on your sweet girl! It's so good to catch up with your little family. I hope you're settled in well, and enjoying being near your mama. (I know you are!)

I'll be back to view more of these amazing, adorable pictures - take care!
