50 Weeks Old

The countdown to Kami's first Christmas and birthday are on. We've got two more weeks for both to happen. I've decided to throw Kami a birthday party for the big numero uno and we've got all our shopping done for both things. I'm looking forward to both firsts for her and am excited to get lots of good pictures!

This week, Kami's teeth have been bothering her, so she's been a bit sleepy and touchy. She's been taking some long naps and has needed some extra attention lately. We're all fine with both! Grandma and Grandpa Dokken got home safely from Hawaii and are looking forward to spending some time with her. She did take four steps on her own (and looked like Frankenstein while doing it) and seems to be thinking about walking a little bit more than she was before. She might not be walking by Christmas, but maybe by Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Kami's got some pretty sweet hair after her pigtails come out.

Can you guess what Kami's about to eat?

She'll show you-it's cheese!

A bottle sounds pretty good too.

Mom and Kami at the Christmas Delight.

Kami and Aunt Jen looking at something on the floor. I wonder what it could be...

Look-Kami made a mess. Surprise, surprise! NOT!

Luckily, Kami likes to help clean up after herself. Our little Hoover.

I'm not quite sure about these donuts...

maybe I'll give them a try...

oh man-these things are awesome!

Mom, Dad, and baby girl went downtown on Saturday and it was a bit frigid, so we had to bundle our bear up.

Hey little Kami! It's your Aunt Jenn (Or cousin Jenn...whatever) I was thrilled to help make that mess with the goldfish! That was fun wasn't it! I hope to see you on your birthday...BIG GIRL!
