Sorry so late!

Sorry to post so late, but life's been busy with a 3-year old and an almost 7-month old. Brooklyn has been busy trying different foods like sweet potatoes, bananas, and butternut squash along with some puffs, of which some have been thrown right up. Ick. She's also getting closer to crawling and is an expert roller-arounder. I put her on her blanket and come back a minute later and she's in a completely different spot. Kami is still a fantastic big sister who loves her baby sister (which has become Brooklyn's nickname) and can count to 20 almost all on her own. She is even starting to recognize letters and know that there's a "B" and a "K" on the refrigerator.

Having two kids can be a challenge at times, but it is so completely worth it when Kami is snuggling with me in bed (we have "sleepovers" when Dada is out of town and she gets to sleep in my bed) and she leans over to check if I'm asleep and gives me a sweet kiss or when Brooklyn smiles at me when I walk in from work. I feel very blessed to have such sweet girls and a fantastic husband who supports and loves us all!

Sweet potatoes and a sideways glance.

Big smile with a big ponytail.

Brooklyn seemed to like bananas...

She sort of has a dopey look sometimes.

Dueling walkers with cousin Jonah!

Not sure if she really liked bananas again...

Cute girl with cute hair! I have to put barrettes in her hair now since it's in her eyes all the time.

Brooklyn loves standing!

Up close and personal!

Garrett took the girls out on a hike and they LOVED it!
Girls after the hike.

Silly girl.

Kami had lots of fun running ahead of Dada.

Brooklyn hanging out in the backpack.

Kami and Brooklyn before the hike.

Cousins having a sleepover in Grandma and Papa's basement in a tent!

She thinks she's hilarious!

Kami wanted to be "nakey" and I wouldn't let her, so she decided to change it up a bit.

Laughing at Dada!

Brooklyn and her pigtails.

Garrett and our adorable nephew Jonah.

Kami showing off her new sunglasses.

Kami wiped out with both her bear-bears.

The first picture of Brooklyn looks like Sanco Villa with that 'stache.

Adorable, as usual! I gotta see those pigtails in real life.

I'm so bummed we didn't get to see Brooklyn on Sunday! She's going up way too fast! Love those girls!
