39 Weeks Old

Happy Nine Month Birthday to our beautiful girl! We went to the Eagle Farmers' Market this Saturday and then to Babies' R Us to get the birthday girl some gifts. She got two new toys from Grandma-she got an elephant piano with drums and cymbals on it and a "fun cube" with different toys on each side of the cube. She seems to really like both of them! She now has three teeth and she's about to have four teeth-two on bottom and one and a half on top. Kami's been a bit grumpy because of the teething, but that's okay. We still like her! Her hair is getting longer and longer-I'm not sure what to do with it and Garrett refuses to cut it, so hopefully it'll get long enough to get swept to one side and stay out of her eyes. She's also getting close to standing on her own. She likes to stand up in the high chair my parents have for her (it's the same one that my brother and I used when we were babies) and turn all the way around in it. Safe! She'll even stand alone without holding onto anything, but as soon as she realizes what she's doing, she squats pretty quickly. It's still a challenge to change her diaper-she loves to squirm and fight! What a stinker! Also, her eyes are still blue-she really might keep those baby blues! I guess we'll see...

A bit of bedhead after her nap. A little product might help that.

Kami got a new car seat and Grandpa and Kami both thought the box was more interesting.

What's back here?

Kami loves "King of the Hill!"

I think I like this...

I do like this!

Ooohhh! Mac and cheese is delish!

I guess this is why they say you shouldn't leave a child unattended in a high chair.

She's got some nice hair after her baths!

This is one of her new toys-the elephant piano. She loves to play the drums on it! Maybe she's a future percussionist.

Here's Kami's other nine-month present-a fun cube! It's also her walker until she figures out how to walk on her own.

Mom and dad in our new house with decorations from my parents.

Kami loves bread!

She's trying to carbo-load right before the big game.

Kami likey!

Is that alpicella sourdough, or is nine months a little too early for that?
