51 Weeks Old

I can't believe this little girl is about to be one year old and celebrating her first Christmas! My, how time files when you're having fun. This week, Kami got some time with her Dokken grandparents after they got back from Hawaii and got to experience snow. We're hoping for a white Christmas, but who knows with Idaho weather. Kami also got to go to the library with her grandparents (she had gone with her Grandma Carol the week before this, but we have no photographic proof) for some musical play time, which she seemed to enjoy. We've got a birthday party planned for this sweet girl and a few different Christmas celebrations this next week. She might be partied out after this week, but we're all looking forward to it!

Yay! Snow!

I'm not sure Kami liked the snow.

Hmmm...not too sure...

Even if she doesn't like the snow, she's adorable in her hat.

One of Kami's favorite books is "Little Bear, Who Do You Love?"

Here's a little stinker doing something she knows she's not supposed to do (play with the cable box) and looking at me the whole time.

Her hair's getting a bit long in the front, and we might be cutting it after her first birthday. "Might" being the key word...

Kami helped me out while I went through her 6-9 month clothing to give some away. I'm not sure that "help" is the right word to use here.

What a sweet girl.

Here's Kami at her music class "going on a bear hunt..."

Grandpa Dokken is showing Kami something, or is it the other way around?

Our two children.

Garrett loves to "blabber" Kami's lips. What do you actually call it when you put your pointer finger between your lips and make noise? Is there an official word for it?

Kami's helping dad out on the computer. She's a tech wiz already.

Wow! She's really growing fast! I know what you mean about cutting her hair--my kids didn't get hair for so long (some of them still haven't), once they got it, I didn't want to cut it. You guys have a great Christmas!
